October is Principal Appreciation Month, and we are honoring Principal Lee, who makes our classrooms places of joy and rigorous learning, so that every learner has what they need to truly thrive in school and beyond. 

Principal Lee’s drive for student success academically and holistically are what keep CICS Bucktown a space of belonging and joy. As the new principal of our school, Principal Lee has made it clear that a strong community is key to a thriving school culture. Meeting with parents over the summer, playing basketball with students, and implementing ideas from his team have shown his new community care and compassion from the beginning.
